Technology wouldn&#039;t have supported what Silverlight offers until only recently. Adobe seems to have become complacent in the industry, and competition will be good for everyone. And I think the audience will embrace Silverlight as a technology providing those who attempt to deliver Silverlight-based web applications do so effectively.&lt;/p&gt;

		<description>Adobe should be very scared.  Microsoft has accomplished in a version 1.0 product what it took Adobe 8 to achieve.  The power coming in version 1.1 will accelerate the development platform beyond the reaches of javascript and truly lead the Web in a new form of style.  It will be very interesting to see if the viewer audience can adapt to the changing web culture as fast as Microsoft can.</description>
